Dear users,

as you may have noticed, we tried to do a major update of most parts of the system, including the homepage, the gameserver and the client around midnight (CET) last night. It was the biggest update we have tried so far. Sadly it didn't work like we had hoped to. As a result we had to revert the update and get the pre-update backup running again. What does this mean to you? 

• changes made in your game around 11pm and 2am on the night from the 21-22 January 08 are lost. Sorry for that, but you need to give your armies new commands and also resend the messages ingame you send during this time
• forum posts made during this period are lost. This shouldn't be a big reason to cry since the majority of posts were about the downtime of the server.
• new logins and games are lost. If you registered on the site during that time or if you created a game, those will be gone!
  

Pardon for all the trouble we caused... We will try to find out what caused the problems using your many error reports in the forum (we have kept a copy of that) and fix them as soon as we can. Thanks for all your feedback and again... Sorry for the trouble.
