We have updated the rules for further clarification and to fit the future timeframe for the tournament. Additions are marked by underlining, deletions are marked by striking.
Participants need to have at least the rank of Private (>= 150 points).
Every player will choose his home country and by doing so will be placed in one of five international groups. That way, the final round will contain many international players.
The tournament consists of three rounds
All games are free gold rounds with elite-AI and additional units.
All buildings and special units will be available from the beginning.
Participants will also get additional resources.
Initial peace period of 2 DE days 48 hours.
The players will remain anonymous but can choose to reveal their player names to others.
Note: This is an international tournament. It is not guaranteed that all participants will be able to speak English.
The tournament consists of three rounds.
Qualification Round
Games will be played on 10 player maps
Each participant plays 3 randomly assigned games in parallel against players from their own pot.
Games will last for 25 days. The end is the exact day change from Daily European day 24 to 25.
A player's score is the sum of the player's Daily European points in all three games.
The top 300 players of the Qualification Round (in relation to the size of their respective pot) will advance to the Intermediate Round.
Goldmark usage in this round is not limited.
The Intermediate Round
Games will be played on 30 player maps.
The 300 best players of the Qualification Round will be distributed over 10 games against players from their own pot (if possible).
Games will last for 40 days. Victory condition is domination (gaining 1500 DE points).
After 40 days, the leading player of each of the 10 games will advance to the Final.
Goldmark can only be used for "Propaganda Campaigns" in this round.
Final
1 game with the 10 best players of the Intermediate Round playing on a 10 player map.
The game will last for 40 days. Victory condistion is domination (gaining 1500 DE points).
The winner of this game or the player with the most DE points after 40 days will be crowned the Supremacy 1914 World Champion.
Goldmark usage is completely disabled in this round.
ALLIANCE TOURNAMENT RULES
Every alliance will compete with 5 players who need to have at least the rank of Private (>=150 Points).
Two replacement players can be named in the registration process and may be entered should some player from the original team become unavailable.
"Official" alliances can compete under their alliance name. Should other players from that alliance want to play in the tournament as well, they will have to play under a different team name and are not allowed to aid other teams from that same alliance.
Individual players can join forces with at least 4 other players and join the tournament as well.
A player can only be part of one team.
All games will be played on 10 player maps.
Initial peace period of 2 DE days.
The usage of Goldmark during the tournament is not possible.
There will be five rounds. After the initial group phase, there will be a second group phase consisting of the 25 winning alliances from the first round. The winners of each group will then advance to the Quarter Finals. From there on there will be a knock-out phase with Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and the Final.The number of rounds depends on the number of participating alliances.
Group phase
All alliances are drawn into groups in which they all compete against each other simultaneously.
The victorious alliance receives two points.
Should two or more alliances have the same amount of points at the end, the direct comparison of the two or (if needed) a coin toss decides the winner.
The round ends after 20 days.
The first alliance of a group advances to the next round.
There will be two group phases.
Depending on the number of groups another group phase may follow.
Knock-out-phase
The remaining alliances are drawn into one-on-one-games.
The rounds end after 20 days.
If there is no clear winner by then, the DE points of all alliance members will be accumulated to declare the winner.
There will be three knock-out rounds (Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and the Final)
Depending on the number of teams in the group phase there may be several rounds in the knock-out phase.
Final
At the end of the knock-out-phase the two winners of the Semi Finals face each other.
The round ends after 20 days.
The same rules as in the previous rounds apply.
The winning alliance will be the Supremacy 1914 Alliance Champion.
